Ball & PNutz scholarship

DANCE  TRAVEL  LEARN

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
In 2016, Colorado lost two dearly Loved members of the Hip Hop, dance and breaking communities. Sarah Ball and Peter Kim were young vibrant dancers who embodied Hip Hop not only through their dedication to breaking but also by spreading the values of Hip Hop (Peace, Love, Unity and Having Fun) to those they encountered every day. Peter and Sarah were incredibly dedicated to their dance and both had a passion for competition and travel. Most of the money Sarah and Peter saved would be used to buy plane tickets (or gas) to travel outside of Colorado for dance competitions.

The Ball & PNutz scholarship was created in 2016 with the intention of providing young dancers in the Colorado Hip Hop community opportunities to travel and compete in events around the world.

Each year the scholarship will carry on the Ball and PNutz legacy by helping pay for recipients' travel expenses to out-of-state competitions and other Hip Hop events around the world.
